MEET THE TEAM

At Beach Street Spinal + Pilates, we are passionate about high quality Physio services and offering our best to our patients.

We understand that everyone is different and everyone’s condition behaves in different ways. By working together closely with our patients, our treatment can be specific for you and not a one size fits all approach.

We are proud to introduce our team to you.

Timothy Gemetzis

Senior Physiotherapist and Director

Tim our director and Physiotherapist, is a generalist Physiotherapist with a special interest in conditions which are long standing, chronic or persistent.

Tim has special interest and skills in the treatment of chronic conditions. By taking time to take a detailed history, he can target treatment specifically and build the appropriate way to overcome body troubles by working out root causes together with our patients. Tim enjoys working together with his patients to build strong relationships ensuring the best quality of care for his patients.

Joanne Lowne

Massage Therapist

Jo is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.

She loves helping people feel more comfortable, move with greater ease and take time out from the demands of everyday life. For Jo, massage is more than just a treatment – it’s an opportunity to listen to your body, address areas of tension and give yourself the care and attention you deserve.

Every massage Jo provides is intentional, nurturing and tailored to you. She takes the time to understand how you’re feeling and what you’d like to achieve from your treatment, whether that’s easing muscle tension, supporting recovery, improving movement or simply allowing your body and mind to relax.

Her approach combines targeted remedial techniques with a caring touch, creating a treatment that is both purposeful and relaxing.

Outside the clinic, Jo loves staying active. She competes in Calisthenics (a style of dance, for those who aren’t sure what it is!), which has given her a real appreciation for movement, strength and the importance of looking after your body.

She’s also a huge dog lover, with a big boof head of her own named Duke, who keeps her active and always puts a smile on her face.

Jo’s goal is simple: to help you feel better, move better and leave your treatment feeling cared for, refreshed and supported.
