  • Exercise management
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Lymphatic/Lympoedema management
  • Manual therapies e.g. massage, spinal mobilisation, manipulation/HVLA
  • TENS and electrotherapies (Ultrasound)
  • Work place assessments
  • Worksafe and TAC management plans
  • Work capacity certification
PHYSIOTHERAPY AND CLINICAL PILATES

Our Physiotherapists are highly qualified health professionals who together with their patients work to help people improve their body performance and stay well. GPs refer more patients to Physiotherapists than any other healthcare profession. Physiotherapists are regulated by the Allied Health regulatory body of Australia AHPRA.

Our Physiotherapists work closely with GPs and other health clinicians to manage treatment. Using best practice, Physiotherapists assess, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of health conditions and movement disorders. Physiotherapy services extend from health promotion to injury prevention, acute care to rehabilitation, maintenance of functional mobility to chronic disease management, sports and performance enhancement to surgical recovery.

What is Clinical pilates?

  • An individually tailored treatment method
  • Used in conjunction with mainstream Physiotherapy techniques
  • Provided by the most highly trained Physiotherapists in the field
  • Unique and very different from the generic or Fitness Pilates
  • Designed to find and fix the root cause of an injury, not just the injury itself.

How can this help you?

  • Reduce pain and safely manage your injury
  • Correct poor mechanics that underlie injuries
  • Greater resistance to injury
  • Training your muscle groups to help your body to work safely and more efficiently
  • An overall feeling of physical wellbeing, with improved posture, balance and motor control.

Our Physiotherapists are all trained in and use the dma Clinical Pilates™ method.

This form of Clinical Pilates is treatment our Physiotherapists mainly use for rehabilitation, chronic pain management and functional improvement.

Initially done one on one with our Physiotherapists, they may suggest to attend group sessions (typically maximum of 3 attendants) depending on your needs (currently limited due to Corona virus restrictions).

OSTEOPATHY

Our Osteopaths are highly qualified health professionals that provide clinical care to our patients. Osteopathy concerns with the neuro-musculoskeletal system, which is made up of the bones, muscles, nerves and other tissues that support your body and control its movements.

Osteopaths use your individual medical history and environmental factors to understand the root cause of your pain to develop a personalised plan to help you manage your pain and move better.

Osteopaths use a whole-body approach to care for patients. This is sometimes called biopsychosocial care, which means they consider biological (body), psychological (mental) and social (environment) factors that may affect your health and wellbeing.

AQUATIC PHYSIOTHERAPY

As the name suggests rehabilitation is carried out in water heated to a constant 34 degrees Celsius with our physiotherapists. This services is currently on hold due to limited access to pool facilities owing to Corona virus. May re-commence in 2023.

The aim is to assist with the rehabilitation of the individual.
In some cases it will also assist in maintaining the client’s level of function or prevent deterioration or prevent injury.

Aquatic physiotherapy may involve individual treatment in a one to one situation or may be undertaken in groups. Aquatic physiotherapy is a great way of progressing rehabilitation and promoting independence, there may be limited access to an appropriate pool or pool sessions by both the client and the physiotherapist.

ANF THERAPY

Aminoneurofrequency or ANF is a technique or treatment approach that has emerged recently. At the core, the treatment uses biofrequency medicine that has been used for well over a century.

“Future medicine will be the medicine of frequencies” words from Albert Einstein which outline this mode of treatment founded by Dr Mikel H.G. Hoff of the ANF Academy who is based in Spain.

This treatment modality uses physics principles of ‘Convergence Resonance’, ‘Electromagnetism’ and ‘Quantum Biology’ which basically take advantage of the fact that our body tissue can be influenced by the things around us. These things have a particular resonance or frequency which if they resonate at the same frequency that our tissues respond to, we can get our tissues to work better and heal.

In a little more detail, our nerve impulses generate an instantaneous electromagnetic field (EMF) by the concept of the ‘Right Hand rule’. The EMF generated by that nerve or function can be measured and its frequency determined.

If that frequency of a body function is known then it can be enhanced or inhibited via convergence or dissonance by an outside applied frequency via ‘Convergence Resonance’ as explained in physics via “Wave Theory”.

The research of those at the ANF academy has actually determined the frequencies of hundreds of different functions. These include inflammation, to anti-oxidant production, to muscular strength and blood flow. Through the application of an outside applied frequency (here is the intervention part) it is possible for these functions to enhance the healing response of the body it’s applied to.

This outside applied frequency that we use is ANF.

ANF is a wearable (portable) carbon alloy that has a programmed frequency embedded into it (disc). These are manufactured by an ‘Accelerator Frequency Generator’. Each disc will emit its frequency once activated by body temperature continuously for at least 72 hours.

What types of conditions may ANF help with?

  • Acute or Chronic musculoskeletal
conditions such as Chronic low back pain, neck and shoulder pain.
  • Knee pain (including arthritis)
  • Improving Sports Performance and sports injuries
  • Chronic Headaches and migraines
  • Insomnia
  • Fibromyalgia

If you are wondering if ANF may be an option for you please send us an email or call us on (03)97831715.

ANF therapy is an excellent complement for Physiotherapy as it aids in reducing the pain and inflammation to allow for a guided exercise program assisting the recovery process.

We look forward to helping you on your health journey with ANF. If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment, then please call us on (03) 9783 1715 to arrange a time with our friendly admin team.

FLOAT TANK

What is floating?

Floating also known as sensory deprivation, offers a warm and welcoming environment where you can focus on you.

Floating occurs in a floatation pod, or isolation tank, which is a cocoon like structure built using the best quality fiberglass and plastics with a door which can be shut or kept open during the float session.

On the inside, you will find an inviting, softly lit up tub (using LED lights) of 30cm deep water kept at a constant 35°Celsius. The water containing Epsom salts will hold your body off the floor of the tank floating with no floating equipment. When floating, you can shut off the lights, close your eyes and enjoy the floating experience where the time is purely yours.

The float tank is both sound and light proof, and provides your brain the opportunity to disconnect from the constant bombardment of sensory input and enhance your ability to be mindful and present. The experience leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and re-invigorated as we facilitate replenishing your energy levels. There is simply no other technology or environment that can stimulate these basic human needs, rest and isolation.

Indulge in the floating experience in our beautiful
facility and brand new float tank
